Truck Manifest

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted two updated presentations for truck carriers to CBP.gov under ACE Modernization/What is ACE/Presentations for ACE Capabilities. The presentations are Review of e-Manifest: Trucks and Review of Shipment Release Types: Trucks. The URL is as follows:

Please note you may need to copy and paste the URL into your internet browser. The Review of e-Manifest: Trucks presentation provides a general overview of e-Manifest truck filing including filing options, in-bond shipments, etc. The Review of Shipment Release Types: Trucks provides detailed information on different shipment types.

Appendix G – Condition Codes and Text – revised the tabs for all conditions; Entry Summary Create/Update and Entry Summary Query for this release. 

ACE Error Dictionary – added the new condition codes related to PSC functionality with explanations.

Possible Extended ABI Maintenance Window February 4, 2011

There is a possibility that the ABI System will be unavailable tomorrow morning from 8am-11am. Should you experience delay in responses or no responses at all be advised  it is due to the system maintenance Customs will be performing. We will be sending any updates in regards to this issue as we receive them.

ACE DOWN ON FEBRUARY 6-7, 2011

Title: Possible Extended ACE Maintenance Window This Weekend Date: 2/3/2011 8:13:35 AM   To: Automated Broker Interface, ACE Portal Accounts, Truck Manifest

Maintenance work on the ACE system is planned for this weekend. 

There is a possibility that
the ACE System will be unavailable beyond the scheduled maintenance window on Sunday, February 6, 2011.  The regularly scheduled maintenance ends at 0500 EST Sunday morning. If it is necessary to extended the maintenance window, the ACE system may not be available until 0730 EST Sunday morning.  

Please plan accordingly.
